Any breaded type of pastry food is my weakness, and it doesn't really
help that there are panaderia's on practically every block, tempting me
even further to indulge into my weakness. The food here is SUPER good or
muy sabrosa as the locals would say and the panaderia's tend to be
really cheap. Every pastry in this picture was around 50 cents. So when I
was studying today after going on a run, I was craving some pastries
and because I couldn't decide what pastry to get, I got them all.

I found this at the train station in Nunez on my way to Tigre in the morning.
This is our Siamese cat Mumi (and one of my Argentine roomate's, Paola). I have a love/hate relationship with Mumi. She is definitely my favorite cat, but my problem with her is that she thinks she's a baby; she loves attention and will cry and cry and cry nonstop to get her way, and her cry literally sounds like a baby. She also loves being held like a baby (as you can see in this picture). She has to sleep in the kitchen (with the door closed so that she won't escape) because if she gets out she wakes up everyone in the house by whining to get into the rooms and cuddle with us.
Here is a picture of me enjoying the Mate I had just bought in the gord that I mentioned my host family had got me in the last blog.
Finally, I leave you with a song by Celia Cruz which I have stuck in my head. It's not Argentine music at all (it's actually salsa), but it is in spanish and therefore slightly does pertain to my blog. Enjoy.
